Can I import tags with CSV Importer?

Short answer: Yes!

There are two ways you can import/update tags with CSV Importer Pro:

1. You can tag contacts & companies as you import them

2. You can ‘bulk tag’ contacts via ID’s/email’s later.

To add tags as you import contacts/companies, simply include a column for them (contact tags/company tags) in your CSV, then select “Tags” or “Company Tags” from the mapping drop down list.

Note on Tags format:

Tags are expected in pipe-delinated lists, that is:

first tag|second tag|third tag

The Contact Tags will appear in the Contact Edit screen:

And the Company Tags will appear in the Companies->Tags screen:

And associated with a company, if the tags are associated with a Contact with a Company Name entered in the CSV.
